ME VI LLORAR. HORCADOS ROJOS

Climbing routes Directory Fuente Dé area

Me vi Llorar is another good route on the Horcados Rojos wall about which there is not much information. The most demanding of this part of the wall, if not taking the Lebanese Red variant called Jarabe de Palo into account. As we climb along the routes of these climbers we must not forget that when some of us barely knew how to walk and with half the means we have today, this young and committed group was already crossing these mountains, tracing lines that were sometimes little understood but well ahead of their time.

Me vi Llorar in Horcados Rojos. Route description:

The first and fifth pitches are well protected by spits and pitons in their hardest sections. They are quite explosive and will test our fingers and skin severely. The rock is perfect.

The two 6b pitches are beautiful, among the best in their difficulty of the surroundings of Fuente Dé and certainly of the whole Picos de Europa. The first one will force us to use the protections well, we will only find some pitons, and the route is overall sustained. The second is a very nice wall, which will challenge us a bit because in its first part the anchors are getting farther apart, but the rock is perfect.
