"SILENCIO PERDIDO" AND "MIL RAYAS". Bustamante Needle

Climbing routes Directory Fuente Dé area

Two short routes that don't climb up to the top of the Bustamante Needle but, as usual, the opening style makes them very interesting. They can be combined with others is the area.

Silencio Perdido : A very beautiful but hard first pitch, with technical friction moves well-protected with bolts. A second pitch with a tough dihedral.

Mil Rayas : has a second 40 m long self-protected pitch, very beautiful and with a very good rock quality, one of the best in the area in terms of difficulty. There's a well-protected bulge in the first pitch with a piton where the rock is generally bad.

You descent abseiling down, but the belay stations do not have rings, they're triangulated with a cordelette and an oval shalk (that needs to be replaced).
